NMI Verification

IMI Solutions is a National Measurement Institute “NMI” nationally licensed provider authorised to verify Point of Sale (POS) systems as legal for trade under Australian Government standards. By integrating verification directly into deployment, we eliminate third-party coordination and ensure your systems are compliant from day one.

Our Process

1. Integrated Installation & Verification
   As POS systems are installed, our accredited verifiers conduct required inspection and testing in line with National Measurement Institute (NMI) standards.
2. Compliance Testing

IMAC services (installs, moves, adds and changes) are the steady heartbeat of IT in any multi-site organisation. New starter on Monday. Two desks relocating in the Adelaide office. POS system installation in Australia comes with a legal catch most providers gloss over: if the system weighs product, it must be verified legal-for-trade under National Measurement Institute standards before the first sale. IMI Solutions installs POS across Australia and New Zealand and holds an NMI national licence, so verification happens during the install, not weeks after it.

How a POS rollout runs

Stage. Terminals are imaged with your build, peripherals paired, and each store's kit packed and serial-tracked in IMX.

Verify and sign off. NMI verification and photographic evidence complete before the store opens. If anything fails, the rollback plan keeps the store trading on existing kit.

SOE development and deployment turns a fleet of individually configured machines into one manageable estate. A Standard Operating Environment defines the approved build: operating system, applications, security settings and policies, so every device behaves the same way in every branch, store and office.
